We give thanks to God for giving each of our children a *purpose*. Why are our children here? What are they intended to *do* during their lifetimes on our planet? How might each of our children have the most extraordinary life possible, providing the greatest contribution to others, as well as to themselves?
Toward the end of His time on Earth, Jesus said, "I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do." Will our children, by the end of *their* lives, be able to complete *their* "assignments?"
If we knew God's purpose for each of our children, wouldn't we have a better idea of how to go about creating the ideal *education* for our daughters and sons?
It is such a profound privilege to be parents, and to have the primary responsibility for "raising up" our children! One of the primary things each of us parents is responsible for is the *education* of each of our children. We may choose to *delegate* various aspects of our children's education (for example, to an excellent teacher or teachers), but it's still *our* job!
This portion of the WinCrafting™ site is devoted to supporting parents and children in constructing an education which is appropriate and necessary to the carrying out and fulfillment of the *purpose* of each of our children!
As they say, "there's a lot to learn!" In this day and age, when people walk into an excellent bookstore, they are likely to encounter 150,000 or more books! Obviously, most of us are *not* going to *read* most of those books! If it was your job to select the books which would be the most edifying and forwarding in your child's life, where would you begin? Speaking more broadly ... is the study of certain subjects essential to *all* our children, or is "relevance" an *individual* matter? Where might a person *begin* in addressing the *scope* of a particular child's education? What is the ideal *sequence* which a child's education might follow?
Well, of course ... *prayer* is always the *first* place to begin! We lovingly suggest that, in the process of praying about the very best education which your child could have, you consider some of the questions which are set out on one of the "outline" pages of this site, which we have titled Education on PURPOSE!
